"My advice to anyone just starting out in jewelry making, whether it be beads, clay, wire or what have you, is to remember that Michelangelo didn't paint the Sistine Chapel the first time he picked up a paint brush. Remember that the joy in creating lies in the doing and not the final outcome. Striving for perfection rather than enjoying the process of learning will only result in frustration. Allow yourself to experience your own unique learning curve and be open to the next great concepts you come across - usually happy accidents that occur when you make a mistake."
